About our school

For over 100 years, St Monica’s Primary has been committed to providing a rich, inclusive and engaging curriculum that empowers students to become independent, socially aware and life-long learners. Our school community places strong emphasis on student well-being and academic growth, believing that students learn best when they feel safe, supported and connected. We are proud to be guided by Magnify Sandhurst: Every student, every teacher, every school, every day, which inspires our collective commitment to excellence in ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ education. At St Monica’s, relationships matter. Strong, respectful connections between students, teachers and families are the foundation of a nurturing environment where every learner feels a genuine sense of belonging. Our evidence-based approach to teaching and learning begins with a strong foundation in the early years. We implement InitiaLit and Ochre English & Numeracy to ensure consistency, targeted support and high-quality outcomes for all students. These programs provide the structure and tools to meet individual needs while building confidence and success in literacy and numeracy. At St Monica’s, every student is known, valued and supported. We are a community that encourages curiosity, celebrates growth, and inspires each child to reach their full potential in a faith-filled and future-focused learning environment. |
Principal's Message
At St Monica’s, we believe that strong relationships are the foundation of great learning.
As Principal, I’m proud to lead a school where every student is known by name and supported to thrive.
Our staff are deeply committed to nurturing the whole child—academically, emotionally and spiritually.
We partner closely with families, recognising that parents are a child’s first and most important teacher. Together, we create a culture where students feel safe, valued and confident to take risks in their learning.
I invite you to experience the warmth, care and commitment that define our community at St Monica’s Primary.
