About our school

Our Lady of Lourdes is a Primary School where your child is known.

We strive to develop every student in their academic, faith and social knowledge so that they can fully participate in the next phase in their education.

We believe that students learn when they are engaged and self-motivated. We engage each student at their next point in learning to constantly engage and develop student ideas. This approach of ‘scaffolding’ learning supports students to learn and achieve their personal best.

Quick Facts

Established in 1965, in 2025, we celebrated our 60th anniversary. In the last ten years, refurbishment programs have updated classroom learning areas and the office/ administration space.
At OLOL, we value the partnership between school and home. We also value small class sizes- your child will be known to all staff.
We understand that communication is an important element of the home-school partnership.
Our goal is to develop students to grow in their academic, spiritual, physical, social/emotional and creative/ artistic needs.
Our Lady of Lourdes School is a Priority Parish School for Aquinas College, St. Joseph’s College and Mater Christi College.
Over the last 10 years, academic growth in student NAPLAN performance (from Year 3 to Year 5) has been outstanding!
Students at OLOL participate in Specialist Programs such as Physical Education, Music, Art/ Wellbeing and Italian. Highlights from these programs include Italian Day and our Musical Production (every 2nd year).
Our School offers extra-curricular programs including Interschool Sport (Winter and Summer team sports, as well as Athletics, Swimming and Basketball).
OLOL offers Before (starting at 7:30am) and After School Care Programs (until 6:15pm).
