About our school
At Carlo Acutis ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ Primary School, we are committed to equity and excellence through a high quality, evidence-based approach to teaching. Grounded in the Science of Learning and guided by Cognitive Load Theory, our curriculum is designed to optimise student understanding and mastery of essential knowledge and skills.
We deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum that empowers students to think critically and solve problems, preparing them for a complex world. Our teaching practices are shaped by the Melbourne Archdiocese ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ Schools’ Vision for Instruction and Engagement, ensuring explicit instruction, inclusive environments, and a strong sense of belonging.
Inspired by our patron, Blessed Carlo Acutis, we nurture students to be faith-filled, compassionate, and resilient individuals. Through a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), we provide targeted supports and use high-quality assessments to meet every learner’s needs.
As a new school in Wollert West, we are building a vibrant, welcoming community where students flourish academically, spiritually, and emotionally. With passionate educators and a strong ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ identity, we aspire to be the heart of our community-where every child is known, valued, and inspired to thrive.
