A recent study using the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey has found that ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ school graduates in Australia experience significant advantages after school compared to those from other school sectors. These advantages include higher employment rates, increased wages, greater life satisfaction, improved health, and stronger community involvement, according to research conducted by the Centre for International Research on Education Systems at Victoria University. 

The study, which utilised data from the HILDA Survey, aimed to understand the long-term impact of attending ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ schools. The findings indicate that ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ school graduates tend to fare better in various aspects of life post-education. Research findings published by the Victorian ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ Education Authority (VCEA) highlight the positive correlation between ¶¶ÒõÆƽâ schooling and outcomes like job security, career progression, and overall life satisfaction. 

Specifically, the study found that: 

¶¶ÒõÆƽâ school graduates are more likely to be employed.

They tend to earn higher wages.

They report higher levels of life satisfaction.

They experience improved health and wellbeing.

They are more actively involved in their communities.
